Week 2 EOC Case Study: Housekeeping supervisor

This situation is obviously a tough one and must definitely be looked at from both points of view. I completely understand both sides and where each person in this situation is coming fro but I truly believe that Donna was in the wrong because her boss specially said no to her request because she had the right to since it was merely a request. And her boss also knew that they would be busy that exact weekend with everything going on but she disregarded the whole situation and lost a steady job shes had for 9 years. I mean of course her daughter is more important to her than any job but she signed a legal document and knew what her consequences were if she did not show up for work that day and missing work. Donna also lied to her boss just to attend and no one appreciates a liar or would want to be working along side of one. I think Tara did the right thing especially since Donna had voluntarily quit her job.
